New to Downtown - 'The Beauty Barr'

Downtown Texarkana welcomes a new business on the corner of Broad Street and Texas Boulevard, "The Beauty Barr" is almost open, with a Grand Opening Celebration scheduled for May 16 in conjunction with Better Block Texarkana.


The Beauty Barr is located at 218 West Broad Street across from The Silvermoon on Broad.

Lots planned with the official Grand Opening on May 16. Botox & Blowouts, Mini Manis, and Make-up. Visitors will also be able to shop from "Tryst" as the Beauty Barr will be hosting them for Better Block, and some great items will be raffled off including Wind & Fire Bangle Bracelets from Micah's Jewelers, Halocouture Extensions, and Product Baskets. Catering by Jeff Loving will be provided for customers.

When I spoke to Ms. Taylor she said,

So the idea is, someone could come in, get a new outfit, get their hair done, nails done, a quick eye makeup, and then walk out ready to go! 

It will be a great turn-out downtown that day as the Better Block Texarkana event will also be happening, along with Railfest, and the Downtown Car Show at the Auto Museum.

Owner Taylor Barr has been putting in so many hours day and night to get the shop ready, and the place is looking great. Just a few minor details and it will be ready for the Grand Opening Celebration. Be sure to stop in and meet the staff during the Grand Opening. The crew consists of Ms. Taylor, April Yeager, Candi Campbell, Samantha Whitlow, and Manicurist Jillian Hildebrand.
