A Twisted Fork Tequila Tasting on Cinco De Mayo

A unique event is scheduled for Cinco De Mayo at Twisted Fork Restaurant in Texarkana. Chef Jeff and team will be hosting a "Tequila Tasting" on May 5, with a great selection of fine Tequilas.


Here is the thing, I have not been to many wine tastings and never a tequila tasting, but I am going to go out on a limb and say you do NOT spit out the tequila. Not if you want to have some fun.

The Tequila Tasting on Cinco de Mayo will offer samples from a bold blanco, to a complex mezcal anejo.

(For the record, I believe tequila gets a bad rap a lot of times. Be honest... when you have a bad experience with tequila, do you blame the tequila or the half dozen beers and fruity shots you had before the tequila?)
